Barbara Davidson is a staff photographer for the Los Angeles Times. And in 2014 she was named the International Newspaper Photographer for the second time. And Barbara also won a team Pulitzer Prize in Spot News Photography for Hurricane Katrina. She also won awards for Photography for her intimate story of innocent victims trapped in the city’s crossfire of deadly gang violence, which earned her an Emmy Award alongside five colleagues for their work for the Los Angeles Times. Barbara tells the intimate stories by giving a voice to her subjects through the camera. She also goes around to take pictures of disasters that had happen around the world.
